Western Carolina Sailing Club
Sunday, November 11 will be the final race day of the fall season. It will be a single distance race around government marks and cruisers are welcome (as usual) to participate. If cruisers desire, they will have a separate start and scoring. Because of the time change, the competitors' meeting (in the clubhouse) will be at 10:30 am and the first warning signal is scheduled for noon. Following the race, we will gather in the clubhouse for fleet beer and chili or soup. Bring a crock pot of something and leave it on warm setting in the clubhouse while we race.
Below are links to the lake map and the course and buoy list. The list shows all possible courses that might be chosen. All of the courses may be shortened at any of the buoys, either outbound or on the way back. You will note that there is a landmass in close proximity to each buoy. You will always pass between the landmass and the buoy. The start and finish will be between the signal boat and buoy S20. Course and Buoy List Lake Map
