Adult Learn to Sail Program
Beginning Sailing is taught by Ron Moede.  There are 2 Classroom sessions and 3 days of hands-on training on the water per class.  The on the water portion is taught in Catalina 22s.  All classes are conducted at Western Carolina Sailing Club.

The following classes are scheduled for 2019:
Class 1 - April 25th Classroom - WCSC Clubhouse
               April 27th - On the water
               May 2nd - Classroom - WCSC Clubhouse
               May 4th - On the water
               May 5th - On the water
Class 2 - May 9th -  Classroom - WCSC Clubhouse
               May 11th - On the water
               May 16th - Classroom - WCSC Clubhouse
               May 18th - On the water
               May 19th - On the water

Class 3 - September 12th -Classroom - WCSC Clubhouse
               September 14th - On the water
               September 19th - Classroom - WCSC Clubhouse
               September 21st - On the water
               September 22nd - On the water
Class 4 - September 26th -  Classroom - WCSC Clubhouse
               September 28th - On the water
               October 3rd - Classroom - WCSC Clubhouse
               October 5th - On the water
               October 6th - On the water

Registration: $330.00

Learn the basics of sailing, a lifelong sport which knows no gender or age boundaries. Master the basic theory of how a sailboat works and how you safely and skillfully operate it. Then put your skills into practice at Western Carolina Sailing Club on Lake Hartwell. This program utilizes both classroom and on-the-water instruction. Participants must have their own Coast Guard Approved Type III life jacket.
