For WOWs who have learned how to sail a Sunfish and want more time on the water with friends. We will be done in time for the WOW Committee meeting at 4pm and the 4th of July Party at 6pm

Come join us to celebrate Independence Day. Saturday July 2 at 6 pm WCSC clubhouse. We will proved hamburgers and hotdogs. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. We will have tea, lemonade and water, if you want alcohol or soda please BYOB. There will also be our first annual Apple Pie Contest! Bake your best pie and enter it There will be ribbons and prizes for the top three placements. There will also be a few family activities after dinner before the amazing fireworks show!!!

Western Carolina Sailing Club
Western Carolina Sailing Club‘s Fourth of July fireworks extravaganza has become a tradition on Lake Hartwell. Last year we had over 200 spectators on our front lawn and another 100 boating off our point all watching Ron Sanga and his battalion of volunteers produce a show that lasted an hour of spectacular entertainment.
This can not happen without the generous donations from our members. Last year we collected over $2000.
It takes a lot of time and effort to put on this show. We cannot do it without your help. Please do your part and donate whatever you can to the fireworks show by clicking on the links below.

WCSC‘s Junior Sail Camp provides instruction to juniors from age 8 through 18 (turning 18 in 2022) during two weekends in July. Instruction ranges from novice to advanced sailors in age and size appropriate fleets. Junior camp is a great way for youth to learn the lifelong sport of sailing!
