For Sale - 1974 Cal2-29 (Skybird) with Farymann .A series diesel. See on D-Dock. Three headsails 110 (Tallboy), 135 and 155, loose footed main. Symmetric spinnaker, pole, topping lift and downhaul (lines need to be replaced). All lines led to cockpit through rope clutches (7) with exception of vang and outhaul. Full bimini with divided helm station section, halyards replaced in 2011. Setup for jiffy reefing to first reefpoint. Topping lift (sail care) included but will require installation. Teak cockpit flooring modules, new marine VHF and antenna, stereo sound with USB installed 2013, LED anchor light 2013, Danforth anchors (2). All stanchions re-bedded with deck core epoxy filled to 1.5 inches. Two forward stanchions will need same treatment. Mast step re-bedded and core was epoxy filled 2011.
She's been on lake Hartwell at WCSC since 1975. Came from Lake Lanier where she lived for a year until purchased by David Holt (WCSC), so always in fresh water. We are the third owners (since 2004). This boat sails beautifully, balances easily and is sleeps up to six. We'll miss her. David raised his kids on Skybird and we did the same. She's ready for someone new to love and enjoy.
