Next time you are at the club, check out the Dinghy Dock. It is almost finished except for some minor tweaks, re-alignment, tightening and what not.
Now for the small print disclaimer: BE AWARE THAT THE DOCK MOVES AROUND A LITTLE BIT, SLOPES TOWARDS THE WATER, SUBMERSES AT THE OUTBOARD END ALONG WITH OTHER DANGERS RELATED TO BEING IN AND AROUND BOATS, DOCKS AND OTHER MOVING PARTS....(List not inclusive of all potential hazards). Be Careful!
We might even get a picture or two on the website soon.
So now the time has come, without further delay, (drumroll) to present the Dinghy Dock Team with over 150 hours in the project. Thank you guy's and of course Ms. Barbara Benson. If I omitted anyone I truly apologize.

An update on the Dinghy Dock project. What a fun team working on a fun project. Thanks to the hard work of the team members we are 90% complete. Over the past two weeks the team has built the remaining three sections. Today we launched them.... and they floated. Love it when a plan comes together.
Next phase is to complete the docks, re-rig the club Sunfish and 420s and move them to the dock.
We are rolling right along to have this project completed and ready for use by Commissioning Day.
Check it out when at the club.

What a great weekend. Have you seen the first section of the new dinghy dock? Thanks to all the volunteers who made this possible. Great to see the boats already being used by assorted club members including Juniors, Moms with daughters and Past Commodores.
IMPORTANT REMINDER
1. Please remember to remove the stern plug after use so the boats won't collect water.
2. For now, after sailing please return the sails to the garage where they are currently stored.
